My CA Journey summary

 Chartered Accountancy (CA) is one of the most popular  professional courses.

It is one of the Toughest courses in the world.

It requires an integration of intelligence, hard work , Patience, Determination and continuous dedication with non-stop efforts. 

Many aspirants relinquish this challenging journey and replace their dreams with some other career options.

My CA journey mentioned  below in  short summary:

If I can become a Chartered Accountant anyone CAN.

I Came from a village background with Telugu medium upto graduation.

After graduating, I was confused as to what I should do. My Big Brother wanted me to pursue CA so that I have a degree, which would help me get a basic job and the required financial support in the future. That is when I decided to study further and become a Chartered Accountant.

Initial period of my CA journey I was faced with a little bit of a medium issue, however I was able to clear the 1st 2 stages of CA early by spending long term preparation time.

Getting a place to do articleship proved to be a big task for me since every articles firm used to ask for references. I searched a lot for getting the same. I was really upset and lost patience. I knew I had to find my own path.

Finally, I started my articleship in a well-renowned firm at visakhapatnam.

This taught me a lot and got good practical exposure.

Always I used to believe that if you are good at your work and give your best, you will always ‘SHINE’. I learned to give in my best and ignore the rest. 

After 3 years of articles I was preparing for CA final exams and CMA final exams meanwhile my father got hospitalized due to health issues. Almost 3 months in hospital during treatment.  During that time I appeared for CA final and CMA final exams with a lot of challenges.

My father passed away in shock to me just ahead of  my final Results. I was shattered.  Words can’t express the difficulties I faced.

CA Final cleared 1st group and CMA final cleared  both groups.

I attended the CMA Campus and got selected for one of the Big MNC Corporate. 

As per my family decision I was joined for Job.

Since I was already a qualified CMA but at the bottom of my heart I always felt – wish I could complete CA.

Even though professionally the work was enriching but not completing CA always haunted me.

Everyday I used to study 2 to 3 hours for CA final preparation after office hours and getting failures due to lack of sufficient preparation time.

Each failure analyzed and realized where I was going wrong.

I learnt a lot from each failure.

I took 7 attempts to clear CA final exam Group 2 and Finally cleared CA in  Nov 2020.

Now I am CA CMA Syam Sundar and CS executive.

My family was and is my source of strength and support. They kept motivating me and pushing me at every failure.

So Background, Medium and situations are not a hurdle to reach the goal. 

There is no shortcut for success, only Hard work , Patience, strong Determination and continuous dedication with non-stop efforts required to reach the goal. 

I have come across many semi-qualified professionals who are working full time and are struggling to Clear for their exams, let alone pass their exams. The real challenge is to pass CA Final exams or any professional exams while working full time and that is why I decided to pen my story along with tips and tools to help you crack CA or any other professional exams while working.

Conclusion: Every attempt, every failure, every success, every stage of CA course is a life lesson for CA students.
